Growing up in Montclair, New Jersey right outside of New York City, I was exposed to so many different cuisines and cultures, which has given me a very diverse palate. Cooking great food from the heart was a big part of my upbringing. My family was in food service, catering for some of the most well-known people in the Tri-State area. Watching my mother cook on a Sunday afternoon is one of my fondest memories. I went to Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina and later received my degree in Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the years I worked for some of the top companies in the hospitality industry such as Hyatt Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Whole Foods Market. I have catered and hosted events with some of Atlanta who’s who such as Missy Elliott, John Boyega, Allan Gutierrez; Real Estate Mogul, Lisa Nicole Cloud of Married to Medicine, Peter Thomas of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Celebrity Chef Marvin Woods, R&B Group SWV and much more.
We eat to survive, but I survive to eat. I have a deep and serious passion for food. I love to eat but more importantly, I love to cook, talk about, look at and study food.
I’m thoroughly enjoying the weekly service I’ve received from Cookonnect. Chef Chris has provided my meals for a few weeks now, and I’ve always found him to be friendly, professional, and prepares great meals. I’m a happy customer!
