About me

Chef David is a seasoned culinary professional with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. His journey began at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, igniting a passion that led him through various roles in both front and back of house operations. In 2010, he formalized his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago, graduating with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts in 2012. Post-graduation, he honed his skills in fine dining establishments such as Bistro Bordeaux, Fork, and A10 in Chicago. Relocating to Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2016, he transitioned into private chef work, culminating in the founding of A&H Provisions in September 2019, a company dedicated to providing responsibly sourced spices to the Atlanta area.

Why I Cook

I cook because it allows me to connect with people on a deeper level—through shared experiences, flavors, and stories. Food has a unique power to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of community, and I find purpose in creating those moments. Cooking is also a creative outlet for me, where I can experiment, learn, and express my passion through every dish I prepare. At the heart of it all, I cook to serve others and make meaningful memories around the table.
