Chef Kia is a Southern culinary virtuoso and proud mother of four who has served in the culinary industry for over a decade. Raised in the kitchen, her expertise is not only molded by her collegiate certificate in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management but, it is also ancestrally and instinctively guided. Her focus on seasonal, nutrient-rich ingredients, combined with her dedication to flavor and presentation, has opened many doors and provided her with countless professional opportunities. Her culinary journey spans iconic venues including Ramsay's Kitchen in Las Vegas, Nobu in Malibu, and the Delta Sky Club in Atlanta, showcasing her skills nationwide.

Why I Cook

Cooking allows me to honor a legacy that stretches across generations—from my grandmother and mother back to our family’s arrival in the U.S. from Africa. Growing up in their kitchens, I learned that food is more than a meal—it’s a way to nurture health and connect cultures. As a mother of four, and inspired by the memory of my late grandmother, I focus on creating nutrient-dense, seasonal dishes that truly nourish, offering others the gift of vibrant, lasting health without the loss of flavor.
