I'm Shay! I hold a bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts Management and have transitioned from being a respiratory therapist in the Air Force to pursuing my passion for the culinary world. Currently, I work as a Food and Beverage Voyager at Marriott, honing my leadership and hospitality skills. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I’m now based in Atlanta, striving to make a meaningful impact in the food and beverage industry. My goal is to combine my culinary expertise and management skills to create memorable dining experiences.
When people are sad, they eat ice cream to soothe their feelings. When families want to celebrate a graduation, they choose a restaurant. The go-to idea to commemorate an anniversary is always dinner. Food attaches to so many emotions and brings back nostalgic memories. Cooking is my happy place. I want the experience of tasting my food to feel like a warm, loving hug from a friend you haven't seen in awhile.
Our dishwasher was flooded after she used it, which I didn't know she was using. The steak was so tough that our family couldn't eat more than a piece of it. The harissa chicken had a terrible smell to it when I opened up the container and smelled awful when we heated it up that we had to throw it away.
Chef Shay was excellent, and we loved all the meals she prepared. Personable and easygoing.
Chef Shay was very professional and accommodating with our picky children’s needs. Her food was delicious and she cleaned up everything wonderfully.
Shay did an amazing job! The meals are delicious and my kitchen was spotless! I’ll certainly book more meals.
